I'm getting married in 6 days. We leave tomorrow for California and I can't hold in my excitement. I'm not sure if I'm more excited to get married or to see all the fantastic people coming to the wedding. The last month has been crazy, but very worth it. We moved and have been unpacking for the last 2 weekends. It's fun to start our new married life in a new apartment. We've been receiving fabulous wedding gifts and are finding homes for everything little by little. Mr. Groom is beyond thrilled that someone we even received non-kitchen items!
I'm currently packing for our week in California and our 8 days in mexico. What to pack? Fortunately H &M provided me with lots of cute summer dresses and I even got Mr. Groom some new honeymoon gear.
6 days - yay!
We just found out we are going to have to move. Our lease ends May 28th and since we leave for California May 24th, we'll most likely have to move May 15th. I'm in tax season so I dont have time to look for apartments and Mr. Groom's season has been fortunately extended for another two weeks. Busy times, but i know it will all come together.
I'm working on the welcome baskets for our guests and I've found such awesome products. I would like to include: 1 bottle of wine, matryoshka measuring cups, something french and something from Maryland. I'm having a hard time deciding and would like to keep costs down, but they add up quickly.

Today is Mr. Groom's and I's 5th year anniversary! Unfortunately he is out of town, but we celebrated last weekend over valentine's day. Oddly enough, it is also 100 days until we get married :)
I'm trying to figure out how I want to wear my hair. I have my hair trial this weekend and i know i want to wear it down, but I want it out of my face and I can't figure out a good style. Hopefully Amy will be creative and help me out!! I guess my anniversary evening will be spent searching hairstyles out of bridal magazines (and maybe a glass of wine).

With almost 3 months left, I'm checking off boxes and crossing out tasks. I ordered the groomsmen's tuxes, the ring bearer & flower boys outfits, finalized my invitations and I'm 75% done with the playlist. I'm heading up to NY this weekend for my first fitting (finally) and my first run through for my hair. Because of all the snow we've had the last few weeks (3-4 feet), I've had to reschedule my appointment twice. I am really looking forward to getting to see it again and it'll be so different this time since its really starting to hit me that my wedding is right around the corner. Things are coming together very nicely and I look forward to seeing the final product. Mr. groom and I are really looking forward to our honeymoon - him just finishing his season of over 6 months and no time off and me just starting my season and ready for it to be done.
Below is a picture of the ring bearer and flower boys outfits. I really wanted suspenders, but I think they'll look adorable in this as well and it matches the groomsmen. I'm keeping my invites as a secret. I got them done by momental designs and I can't be happier. Each one is hand painted and they will give a very nice introduction of what our wedding will entail.
